These are the WORST bags ever. Used them with oxygen absorbers and a heat sealer and they don’t keep oxygen out.I now have a ton of bags worth NOTHING to me for my purposes!

Great product but doesn’t heat seal properly
I tried many times to heat seal these bags even using the lowest temperature at one point. The bags never sealed properly. These bags melted too much.

Defected seal
I have been buying these bags for almost a year with no problems til recently. We have had nearly 25% bags with defective seals. When open the seal separates from bag and can no longer be sealed.

5×8 size mylar bags
The 8×5 bags had a small tear below the zipper. Not sure if it would keep the seal so I used my impluse sealer to seal the mylar bag as well. I would of returned but I was already using the bags.

The bottoms rip
At first I thought it was just a fluke, but after the 8th big bag ripped at the bottom seam I gave up and returned them. These bags are terrible!

Good for many things, not just food.
BELLE KR® 4×6 Mylar Bags for Food Storage with 7.5mil ThicknessThese bags are good for many uses, not just food. They are easy to seal,you get 150 for the price though the price is high. I can find much cheaper for similar bags and same amount if not more. They are good for food like sugar, snacks, candy, and many more food items. I also make jewelry and sell other items and these bags are great to put those items in as well. I could think of many other ways to use these for just about anything. As said, the biggest complaint is the I can find more for much lower price.

Nice resealable bags
These are nice sized resealable bags. They are great for those who need to package dehydrated or freeze dried foods. I like that they can be easily sealed with a bag sealer, and the tear away strip works well when opening. The zipper section on it works well and seals well. Overall, I am pleased with these bags.

Smell Proof – Leak Proof – Extremely Tough
This is a pack of 150 mylar bags. I have tried many, many times to stop using these bags because they are not environmentally friendly and I just cannot. I love them. I use them mainly for my dogs’ treats and daily medications.These bags are amazing at keeping in smells and holding small amounts of items. They stand up if you want or they lay flat. The pack comes with labels, but I just write in pen on the top of the bag. The zipper stays sealed and they are easy to open and close. I like that I can use one bag over and over again and the bag still zips the same as on the first time.I keep smelly dried haddock or sardine treats in these bags and there is zero smell in my kitchen. It is really nice.This particular size is perfect for my dogs’ daily treat allowance and I can keep a bag in the car and I don’t need to worry about the entire car smelly like fish.I have tried to clean a bag with hot water that had been storing dry almonds and let it dry overnight and it just did not work. The bag simply did not clean completely and it remained wet, even after 12 hours. These bags are not washable. These bags are reusable for the same item.I also successfully use these bags in the freezer.

One of the Most durable food storage bags I have ever seen
The quality of these bags is above and beyond top notch. So, if you are looking to sell any small food items- or products that need covering- this is a nice bag to do it with. The bags can be filled all the way to the bottom- so you can get quite a lot in them. They are not so great for general food storage though- because they are too nice to use and throw away.I used them for arts and craft storage- they can be written on in Sharpie so I was able to label and file them easily. When I need a certain bag- I flip through them and find it. What is nice is that some I have opened ten to twenty times- and they are still holding strong. These are some of the most durable storage bags I have ever seen.

Different products, maybe?
Having read the reviews, I expected thick, sturdy (“7-1/2 mil”) mylar bags. I don’t know if this is a different seller from what some people had or what, but the bags that I got were CHEAP and THIN. I used only three of them, and I labeled those bags USE FIRST because I don’t trust the mylar in these to be thick enough to protect my freeze-dried product. I will NOT order them again. So I guess it depends upon if you get lucky or not as to whether you get the thick bags (described by some buyers) or thin junk (like I got). It’s not worth the risk for me. . .

Good stuff
These bags are working great for me so far! Though unfortunately I am missing 10 of them, as I only got 30 of the 6x9s, it’s fine. I mostly got this as a way to test out the different sizes and see what works best for me.So yeah, I’m happy overall.

Not as described but they will work for long term storage
I ordered these because the fronts on the smaller bags were supposed to be transparent but they are not.I read the description 3xs thinking I may have missed something but I did not. I was going to return them but then decided these could be great for the customers that want to order freeze-dried products with a 25+ year life span. I wanted these originally for the display of the candy window for my freeze-dried candies and treats.

Clear window on 2 smaller bags ONLY!
I was needing these to place Cotton Candy in for a vendor show, however, the 2 larger size bags do NOT have the clear front like the 2 smaller sized do. I can NOT use these as who wants to buy Cotton Candy without viewing the product, I know I wouldn’t! Unfortunately I am stuck with the opened product. I did buy 2 at the same time if I could return the unopened one I gladly would!

A great variety of sizes with viewable side. Haven’t product filled, but opened to air and pressed. Slightly deflated but I assume once heat sealed that won’t occur.Bottom opens wide enough to stand without tipping. For my planned use, these will work perfectly.

I love these mylar bags. I wanted the sheer ones for obvious reasons but these also came with labels. I was looking for the smaller size to store dried herbs and spices but decided to buy multiple sizes instead. Now I have a way to store lots of other items as well…great price too!

Great deal for the price. *Disclaimer* The 2 largest bag sizes are NOT clear one one side.
I got these bags to put freeze dried candy in to give to friends and family as gifts for holidays, birthdays and special occasions. I thought they all had 1 clear side but the 2 largest bag are solid aluminium on both sides. I liked the idea of clear sides to people could see what was inside of the bags. I did go back and read the description of the bags and it DID list that the larger bags didnt come with a clear side. So that was a “my bad” on me. However, I am still able to use the large bags to store other foods/meals so no waste!The quality of the bags I wouls give a 4 out of 5. I have used other brands of mylar bags and this material feels a little thinner and not as sturdy. I also had little thin pieces of plastic peelong off the top of the clear sided bags. This didn’t affect the seal of the bag but just made a mess and kept sticking to my hand. (I added a picture of the plastic pieces)I liked that it came with oxygen absorbers. This way i didn’t have to do another separate order for them. It also came woth small sticker labels. I don’t think I will be using them to label my bags since I have pre-made labels of my own but its nice if someone didn’t have any already.I would buy from this company again but maybe just the small bags next time. Overall great product for the price!

Not the best for long term storage
These bags were not as thick as I expected. They also had clear windows on all sizes so I couldn’t use any of them for long-term storage. Both light and air can get through the clear sides so they were not airtight, and the O2 observers were basically useless because a year or so The fail and the plastic windows will deteriorate overtime. I wish I would’ve noticed this before an employee put these into rotation because the employee opened the bag. I didn’t return these and I just had to make them sample bags. What a waste.

Second time to order
I store a lot of dehydrated food items and Mylar is a staple at my house. When I first purchased these, I had no idea they were zippered. I didn’t know if I would like them. I shared a few with my sister who also stores food and we both decided we really like these bags! I especially like the varied sizes. Sometimes I need smaller ones for maybe dehydrated celery. I might use the bigger ones for dehydrated mangoes. I love the see through aspect as well.

Great bag for long-term food / freeze dryer food storage
Perfect size for filling from my freeze dry machine trays. Stronger bag than some mylar bags, not as stiff as the 11 mil bags, but much stronger than the 4 mil. Good balance of flexibility, ease of filling and sealing. The resealable zip closure is an added benefit. I will be buying more for sure.

They’re just okay
I bought these bags with high hopes that they would work for my freeze dried goods. The small and medium sized bags work okay but the large ones on multiple bags ripped when trying to open the gusset at the bottom. The smaller bags are hard to open the gusset.
